LV / MV Mechanical Connectors

SED has a comprehensive range of underground LV & MV mechanical connectors to suit all joint configurations, cable sizes and styles ranging from 1.5 - 1000mm².

The vast majority of our mechanical connectors utilise either our single shear bolt technology or the SED patented universal (multi shear) bolt for the quick, efficient and reliable connection onto the cable cores.

The mechanical connectors are also manufactured in a variety of materials eg. aluminium alloy (electro-tinned or natural), brass or copper dependent upon the material of the cable core or the customers preference.

All product has been type tested to a recognised national, European or international standard eg. BS EN61236.1, ERC79, ANSI C119 etc with type test reports available, on request.
